98 Lace: Colour Coded

Mount Grace Priory

98 Lace is a fellowship of lace makers working across a range of textile techniques. Formed in 1998, the group aims to inspire members to produce original work, challenging traditional boundaries and demonstrating the relevance of lace today. Members are distributed throughout the UK.
‘Colour Coded’ features the work of fifteen lace makers, with displays of works inspired by aspects of the Carthusian way of life, the dissolution of the monasteries and the rebirth of this Arts & Crafts house. There will also be a ‘Meet the Lace Makers’ day for visitors over the first Bank Holiday weekend in May.
Runs from Saturday, April 29 (until July 9)
